In 2006 I rescued a beautiful cat named Mia. At that time I was made aware of the dire need the animal shelters have for all of the necessities it takes to keep the animals safe and comfortable. I didn't have out-of-pocket cash to donate, so I came up with the idea of making pet beds. That is when I designed the Wooly Buddy Bed. My wish was to sell a few beds and use the proceeds to donate a few beds. My idea took off immediately and soon it was clear I could not keep up with supply and demand. I washed and felt the sweaters to give them the soft and snuggly feel the animals love so much. What a great way to recycle! I personally believe the animals take to them so quickly because of the human contact the sweaters previously had. You all know what happens when you leave a pile of clothes on the floor...that's right. Your pet's new bed! Each Wooly Buddy Bed is unique and one-of-a-kind. When you see the one you love, don't wait...it may be gone. These beds are washable in warm water on a gentle cycle. Please allow them to air dry. I am truly blessed to have found a fun and unique way of bringing peace and love to our animals in need. Thanks to everyone who has helped make this business successful.
